I took this portrait of Patrick while we were outside in the backyard late this afternoon, watering the plants. Well, actually he was watering the plants, I was kinda just watching :)
I think that this time of day is my favourite at the moment. It has been so very sweltering hot lately-- but this is when the day starts to cool down, and that beautiful breeze comes through, the moments before it turns into a balmy summer's night.

stunning photos. the one of the fence is my favourite. and yes, it has been so hot. never have i been more excited for winter to arrive. it's 10pm and still 29 degrees :( but my sunday was still lovely.

Dusk has been my favourite time of day lately for the same reason. I haven't done this yet but I've been plannign to go to the beach at dusk - the sun's just too hot during daytime!
