Wow, I can't believe that two-thousand-and-ten is nearly over. I know people alllllways say it, especially at this time of year-- but sometimes it just blows my mind how quickly time goes by. Occasionally I have to think for a few seconds before I can remember what year it is, and how old I am right now-- although, let's be honest, that's not such a bad thing to forget ;)

I'm on holidays for a few weeks now, and I can't even begin to describe how lovely it is-- I really needed a break, and a refresh. It's also the first Christmas in a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time that I haven't travelled somewhere for (at least part) of the festive season, so it's really kinda nice to just relax for a change. I had been planning to spend a ridiculous amount of time at the beach these summer holidays, but, well, so far the weather just ain't playing fair. In fact, it's pretty much been the craziest summer weather I can remember! Oh well, lucky there's not a whole lot that can spoil my "happy holidays" mood :)

Speaking of mother nature, I was flicking through my iphone photos the other day, and I realised how many pictures I have taken recently of the sky. Most of them were taken when I've stepped out of the studio at work at the end of the day, some of them while I'm driving along in the car. I guess it kinda just overwhelms me how huge and amazing the sky is. It's pretty humbling. Here's a few:

Happy "last-minute-Christmas-preparations" everyone :) x
